Turmeric is part of the ginger family. For our powder, the cleaned and dried root is finely ground. The most striking feature is probably the bright yellow colour, but turmeric can also score points for its taste. It is mildly spicy with a slightly bitter note. When cooking, the warm aroma develops and enchants rice dishes, pulse curries, sauces and dips. In the pastry shop, it can be used to
